"Kakau Kaha” - depicts a traditional Hawaiian tattoo on the inner arm and hands of a Hawaiian woman. Unfortunately, much of Hawaii’s tattoo history has been blurred by colonialism but many of today’s young Hawaiian men and women are working to recover and revive the traditions and motifs of the Hawaiian designs of their ancestors.
